Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Pulmonary rehabilitation has been a priority area at BTS for many years and, in 2014, we published the below Quality Standard on this topic.

The Quality Standard was then used to develop the standards for the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services Accreditation Scheme launched by the Royal College of Physicians in 2018. BTS remains a supporter of this scheme and as new guidance is developed in this area, BTS will work with the PRSAS team to ensure that the scheme reflects the changes in clinical practice.
