Every year, British Thoracic Society runs a series of webinars. These are free to attend for both BTS members and non-members, and support the full multi-professional respiratory workforce.
Two new webinars have recently been announced, both taking place in September of 2023.
The first webinar taking place on Monday 18 September is titled: Exploring the new BTS Pleural Guideline and Clinical Statement. This webinar will discuss the practical implications of the newly published BTS Guideline on Pleural Disease and the BTS Clinical Statement on Pleural Procedures.
The second webinar taking place on Thursday 21 September is titled: Developing a Model of Care for Complex Home Ventilation. The purpose of this webinar is to inform viewers about the development of a Model of Care for Complex Home Ventilation, which aims to reduce variation in standards of care for patients on long-term ventilation. Input is sought from experts in this field to help scope this guidance, with a particular focus on people’s experience of the interface between complex and non-complex long-term ventilation services.
